Since pt 2 was so long I decided to post pt 3 with just some overall thoughts about the trip. If you have read the other reports you will know that we stayed at BWV the whole time which was from 6/2 - 6/15.
As a whole the trip was fantastic. As I said before it just seem to go by too fast.
We got the rooms we requested at the BWV and they were really nice. They are still working on the front of the building and the area above Wyland's gallery. Although the rooms were in good shape and nothing was really broken we did notice that they are showing some wear and tear. The fold out sofa was a little warped and was hard to pull out, and all the doors to the balconies would not stay shut unless you had them locked. It would be great if they would overhaul the rooms after they get done with the outside of the building. The maintenance staff was really great. At 10pm one evening I dropped the back to my diamond earring down the drain and they sent someone right up to open the drain and get it out.
On some other boards there was some concern about being there during GayDays week but we saw no problems. We just stayed out of the MK on Saturday. We will go again during this time because the crowds are less than they are during the rest of the summer.
Our trip was great and we can not wait to go again.
