I just got home last night. 37 miles over the course of 4 days (and 2 of those were half days). My daughter and I were in the parks from 1:45 on Thursday to close. The rest of the family joined us that night at the hotel and we did all day Friday and Saturday and left at 2:30 PM on Sunday (the car had to be out of hotel parking by 3).
First thing first. We had a GREAT time! All my planning and time on this forum helped make what would have been a good trip, turn into a great trip! So thank you.
We stayed at BWPPI and couldn't have been happier. I heard some complaints about noise before we went. We went on the second floor (out of 3) most of the way back and never heard a peep from anyone either next to us or above us. I would definitely stay there again!
We were there before open on Friday and arrived during MM on Saturday. The MM hours we were able to do the carousel, Peter Pan, Pinocchio and Space Mountain. We could have done more but we had some pictures taken after we entered the park which ate up some time.
Security, the lines weren't horrible. Sunday we got to security around 8:30 for an 8:00 opening. I think that might have been the fastest security line of the weekend. However on both Friday and Saturday I think we just had the bad luck to pick a slow line. Even then it was probably 10 minutes so no complaints.
Fantasmic; we did the premium Fantasmic dining package at RBT. We might have had the best table in the house. The seats and view were amazing. The food and service were both mediocre which was a disappointment. We could see the fireworks after from staying at our seats which was nice. It was expensive, but worth it.
The castle; I know people are disappointed about the wall around the castle. I was too. I wanted a picture of the family with the castle in background. I was happy I could still get that next to the partners statue.
Turtle talk with Crush; we did this twice and it was so much fun! The first time was fun, but crowded. My daughter wanted to go a second time because she thought it would be fun to ask a question. We went Sunday around 10:30 AM and it was virtually empty. Crush talked to my mother in law and sang her happy birthday and my daughter got to ask her question, "do you speak whale" which brought Dory and Destiny and a humpback whale. Whole new interactions than the previous show and so much fun.
You can't see the wall in pictures from the Partners statue.

We were rushing to DL from DCA to find the Dapper Dans on our last day and stumbled upon this parade.
But we did find them for their next performance
