Day Two (9/9)

Got up at seven to head to MK for Extra Magic Hour (or in our case extra magic 40 minutes). We rode Dumbo, the Carousel, Snow White, Tea Cups (Tweedle Dee rode with Michelle and Amanda).

Off to Tomorrowland to ride Space Mountain (we both rode in less than fifteen minutes!), Speedway (those cars can’t be controlled).

It was now 10 a.m. and Toontown Fair opened. We rode Goofy’s Barnstormer (Amanda can’t figure out why Goofy went through a barn!) The girls played on Donald’s boat and then we went to the fair for character pictures. Zoë is a huge Mickey, Minnie, Pooh, Tigger, Chip and Dale fan. She likes kissing them and hugging them! We got to see them all with no line at all! It was great.

We went to see Mickey and then worked our way over to Columbia Harbor House for lunch. This is one of our favorites. Had a Starboard Deck Sandwich and Chili and fries which we split. Pretty good.

By now it was noon and time for the Castle Show. Amanda liked it and Zoë didn’t mind because she was able to see Donald. After the show Amanda wanted to see Belle’s story time but Zoë wanted to ride Pooh. So we split up and I took Zoë on Pooh and the Carousel while Michelle took Amanda to Belle’s story time.

We couldn’t leave without stopping at Ariel’s Grotto and saying hi. After some more pictures we decided to move on to Epcot.

We got to Epcot around 2 p.m. And did Spaceship Earth, Ice Station Cool, Living Seas, and Circle of Life. We finished before supper with Living with the Land (Amanda was surprised that they could grow such big squash!)

We had supper at the Garden Grill. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Epcot if not all of WDW. And the girls got to see their twin counterparts Chip and Dale.

After supper we decided to go over to Mexico to do Rio de Tiempo. They had a band in Mexico that the girls loved. We picked up the masks for the Kidcot game and then moved to Norway. Rode the Maelstrom and proceeded around World Showcase. We found all the Kidcot stamps except Japan.

I had planned on stopping at France for a Pastry but was stuffed with Strawberry Shortcake from the Garden Grill. We finished up the Kidcot stuff and then made our way out of Epcot.

The bus stop for Pop Century at Epcot was unbelievably far. I think we could have walked back to the resort by the time we got to the bus stop.

Anyway we made it back to the resort by 9 p.m. and the girls went straight to bed with no fuss at all.
