Trip Report: 9/15-9/19 with PICS

Bob
Love the beautiful pictures - we stayed in Tokelau this past May, and I LOVED the quiet pool!

I have never seen WDW that empty - a monorail with no people! And getting to ride in the front not once, but twice, must've been a great treat. Thanks, and if you have more pics to share, we'd love to see them!

Thanks again, folks!

To answer a few questions:

I'm not sure what "EWP" is (!), but we couldn't see the water from our room. While sitting on the bed nearest to the sliding glass doors, you could see the Wedding Pavillion and the Grand Floridian. It only took about ten steps out the door, however, to see Cinderella Castle and rest of the MK. We watched the fireworks from the main pool area on Saturday Night.

The main pool WAS indeed crowded on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. I think the "pool hopper" situation is pretty bad at the Poly (as discussed in other threads).

Here's one last pic....my beautiful DD on the most recent trip (left), and during her first visit in September, 2002. The years sure do fly by....

Thanks for posting the pics. We'll be back at the Poly one month from today. WooHoo! We've stayed in Fiji 3 times ... last time was on the marina side but I prefer the garden side.

Love the pictures of your DD. Yes, the years do go by fast. My DD just turned 9. How does she continue to age but I stay the same? Hmmmmmm....

I must say that your pictures are amazing, and I can't believe how uncrowded it was.

I am super jealous!!!

I can't wait to see more!

Oops! Posted in the wrong thread!

Keep moving along folks! Nothing to see here.

Lefty, keep up the good pictures!

You took me back to some good memories!! We stayed at the Poly in December last year! We looooved it! Don't you just feel like you've hit the lottery when you walk in to the park and no one is there!! That has happened to us a couple of times and boy is it a good feeling! I loved the picture of your daughter on the 'people mover' (I still like to call it that). I'm so glad you had a super trip and I have really enjoyed your TR! Pictures are priceless...thanks for sharing yours with us!

I love the pictures of your daughter then and now. That is so great to do a comparison with the difference the years make. We went the 2nd week and it was slow but not nearly as slow as you had it. Consider yourselves very lucky! I love the photos you took to document your trips. It really helps make me feel like I'm seeing it through your eyes. Great job! :thumbsup2
