Trip Insurance?

I wasn't sure where to put this thread, so Mods, feel free to move if you think it's better somewhere else

I'm planning to rent DVC points for my upcoming trip. Usually, I don't bother with trip insurance when booking through Disney, but with this deal, I have no opportunity for cancellation or anything, so I'm considering getting trip insurance.

Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with purchasing trip insurance from an outside company? Did you insure the entire trip (park tickets, lodging, flights, etc.) or just part of it? Any info anyone would care to share would be helpful. This is brand new to me.

Most will not insure DVC point transactions, those that do are limited to $5.00 a point or similar.

I'd post this in the DVC Misc forum for some more specific assistance.
