Hello tgropp

No, there is no cruise involved. Our flights from Edmonton where $2,400.00 for the 4 of us. That was AC 50% off sale, too. Then, our package price so far is about $7,400.00. That is for 4ppl. 10 day park tickets with the water park more and hopper option. 11 nights at our resort (AKL Club level) and the basic dining plan for all 4 (my 2 boys will be teens, so adult pricing for them).
We are still hoping free dining comes out then, and we can add it to our ressie, because that would save us about $1,600.00 off our total.
We love Animal Kingdom Lodge and where spoiled by club level on our first Disney trip... The boys in my family and I, too, I must admit , totally LOVE the club level ammenities. To our family it is a worthwhile addition that no one wants to give up. So, as you can see, it's a lot of money I do not want to leave to chance, especially since my husband is active military and he could be called to work out of country on only short notice anytime.
I kick myself now because when I researched trip insurance through our flight link, it took me to RBC web site. which then informed me that my insurance had to be bought at time of purchase.... Well, I purchased our flights back around the 19th of Dec. so it is too late to purchase AC travel insurance.
I am thinking of going through AMA because they said we can still add it on until our trip balance is due (which is July). They will insure both the flights and the Disney Package. I am holding out to find out if our balance will go down and if we get free dining before purchasing coverage for my Disney package, but I may purchase the flight portion soon, incase something happens in the near future, I don't want to be stuck having a problem labeled "pre-existing" and be denied re-imbursement.
