in the past I've purchased through Disney twice and fortunately never needed it. I've read bad reviews if you actually use the insurance Disney sells so I'm looking into other options. My friend and I are traveling in December so there are possibilities of snow in our area and she has the craziest things happen to her, so just in case we want to get it.
My questions are when declaring the cost of the trip how do I report flights booked with points? Just include the value of the flights?
Looking at insuremytrip AIG seems cheaper and well rested but I've read more about Allianz. There are lots of companies to chose from so I need to read all the fine print. Has anyone used one and made a claim, which company would you recommend or not?
TIA
Eta: sorry about the ***, I thought naming the site was ok as long as it wasn't a link.
