Trip Insurance claim question

From prior threads I know people have had to make claims to trip insurance in the past, but not much was said about the process.

If you have had to make a claim, what did the insurance company want from you for documentation?

For illness they wanted receipts/forms we had gotton from the medical provider. Dh's glasses were blown off his head on our first Magic cruise, and we needed a statement from DCL saying this happened. We did mention this CS. And they sent us something. And they wanted the receipt for the new glasses.

So, if you get hurt or lose something on a Ship..report it to CS and get a written report!!
