Trip Insurance Automatic?

I just booked a room at CBR at the AAA rate. It just occurred to me that I never asked if trip insurance was included. I didn't want it, but I seem to recall people saying Disney always tacks it on so I usually specifically say I do not want insurance. But this time I forgot.

Since I got a special rate, I can't just check the rate to see what I paid and I'd rather not sit on hold again to ask if it's on there.

Does anyone know if they automatically put it on, and secondly, since I already put the whole charge on my credit card, will they refund it?

The insurance goes on a package not on room only. Sounds like you got room only

I booked today and I booked a package and the CM gave me a figure which is what I was quoted ont eh disney website and then she gave me wnother quote and I asked what it was for and she said trip insurance. So I of course took the higher one. It would be my luck the one time I don't get it something would happen that I would need it. It went from 80+ dollars last year to 119.00 this year..UGHHHHH

She did tell me several times to keep calling back to check about discounts. SO maybe there will be a package discount before July ...I COULD ONLY HOPE!!!!! FREE dining would be AWESOME but I seriously doubt it.

If you book THROUGH AAA, AAA tacks it on automatically, NOT Disney.

The same for me. I booked through AAA and I was asked if I wanted it...

I am booked through AAA too and I was asked. They give you the choice of using DW orthier own.
