Trip in Oct 2008 - Help Needed

I am in the progress of planning my families trip for next year.

5 Adults - 1 Child (33mths)

And i cant decided what to do.

Mod/Deluxe/DVC

We have stayed at the POR before and really liked it. So we would consider it again.

But we really like the location of the deluxe resorts at epcot. But i think i goes just past our budget. £8k flights are around £3k - £4k depending on airline/airport/class.

So that leaves £4-5K on the accomodation.

Which i think will not cover 2 rooms in a deluxe at epcot.

So therefore i am looking at the DVC rental idea.

So far i have worked out i need 564 points to get a 2 bed villa at epcot (BCV or BWV)

But how easy will it be to aquire this sort of points for our stay???

And would it cost around $12 a point as i have heard mentioned before??


Cost 564 @ $12 = $6768 approx £3-£3.5K which is bang on.

We use 240 points (i think) for 2 weeks at SSR next October. Did you check out Expedia?

Expedia does go that far in advance.

I think we have got our flights sorted.

Thomson from B'Ham to Sanford £3k for Standard or £4k for Plus.


But thank you for the replies.

It is just getting so confusing tripping to get the right bits of the holiday at the right price.
