im just looking at the trip reports for june. my sis wants to go away in the summer and of course where would i think of taking her :rotfl2:

for anyone that has been in june. would you recommend it to someone who can go anytime they please (at least until ash starts school).

what kind of shows are on? i know its too early for fireworks and fantillusion. would it be worth it to go later on in the summer to see these.

of course i hate crowds but im willing to try anything once lol

thanks for any input

We were there first week of June last year.

The weather was warm, although it did rain quite a bit.
There seemed to be a lot of school groups around the park, but they never seemed to be in ride queues with us :goodvibes .

Mary Poppins was on each day, as was the Sleeping Beauty show in the castle courtyard. Plus HSM shows several times a day in the Studios. The parks closed at 7pm midweek.

This was the only time we actually used the swimming pool in the hotel, as it was still light and sunny for a good couple of hours after the parks closed.

As it was midweek and low season, I would definitely recommend it :)

If your focus is on enjoying the attractions and resort with moderate crowds, yes it can be good (though busier than earlier in the year because of school field trips, nicer weather and American tourists over on holidays). If shows and hours are important to you, then go later.

But June is a good choice (crowd wise, May out of school holidays is even better)

We've been in June, actually our very first visit was mid-June. The weather was great, sunny and hot (I was pregnant at the time), only rained once and it was that fine annoying rain but we had a great time. Wasn't too crowded, we went weds-sun and it was ok even on the weekend.

I'd say go for it if you can, make the most of non-school days :thumbsup2

we have visited in June the last two years, dd's birthday is 8th June and she had her 1st birthday there and we visited just after her 2nd. I've got to say I really enjoy the parks in June, the crowds are very manageable, the weather is pretty ok and the shows are great. The park isn't open as late as peak season but it suits us, I like to get an early night so we can make the most of each day :goodvibes

I've been to Disneyland Paris 3 years ago, in mid-June. Everything was ok during the first days, then the last 2 days during the week end were horrible! So crowded, queues for the rides were endless, a lot of people behaving badly and so on... my suggestion is avoid weekends!

Hello,

What exactly is the sleeping beauty show???

It was a little story set to music, with Sleeping Beauty, Prince Phillip, and some dancers in costume.

I don't know if they're planning on doing it this year though.

it was on in february when we went

Never been, but my DD and her school will be there in June, think there is about 50 of them going.
