We are in the middle of booking flights out of buffalo right now....just wondering what people would do in this situation...
flight choices arrival times in orlando are 815pm or 920am
would you go earlier in morning and stay over night before in buffalo??
Does anyone know any hotels that offer free parking with stay for the week we are away?
I want to save the money of the hotel room the night before but if we have to spend it on parking anyways would rather get hotel room night before that includes free parking....any suggestions??

You could check one way flights and book the return separately if other airlines have more suitable flight times. Check Allegiant from Niagara Falls and look at Rochester as well.

If possible, we always try to take the early flight to maximize the amount of time we have in Orlando. We like to squeeze out as much time from our vacation as we possibly can! :goodvibes

We are flying out of Buffalo for the first time at Christmas (we usually prefer Syracuse but couldn't get good prices from there during the holiday season). Our flight leaves Buffalo at 7:55 am. We have booked a park and fly package with the Days Inn which is right by the airport. For one night's stay, plus 8 nights parking, it was just over $130 US taxes included. The hotel offers a free breakfast that starts at 4:30 am, so its early enough that we can partake before we leave for the airport, and they will shuttle us to and from the airport for free.

There are lots of different hotels in the area that offer similar park and fly packages, depending on what your budget is and what amenities you are looking for.

The Marriott Buffalo Airport used to offer free parking - we haven't stayed there in 3 years. It's really nice though!

I always suggest going night before in the winter. You just never know how your weather will be. And I agree with Gina, fly early so you have an extra day in the sun!

We usually stay over the night before and fly early, especially with winter weather conditions. This time we are paying a higher price and flying out of Ottawa to minimize the time our son will miss from school. Our 7 day/6 night trip will mean he misses only 2.5 days of school. Our flight out of Ottawa is not until 2:30 so he can at least go to his morning classes.

It may be easier to stay at a Buffalo hotel then night before. That way you will already be there and the hotel can take you right to the airport in the morning. I've had luck using buyreservations.com in the past.

I typically fly from Baltimore or Philadelphia however that company has hotels near a lot of airports. The package includes one night stay, parking and transportation to and from the airport.

Hope this helps.
