Trip Home #1

Just back from our first trip home. Stayed 2 nights at VWL (our home resort), then 1 night AKL concierge and 3 nights AKL Savannah (used points for everything).

I was very pleased with VWL - sitting out on out back patio was soooo peaceful. I think we made the right decision with our home resort. However... I'm going to try for BCV or BWV next time, just to try it out.

We just had a studio this time, since the AKL took so many points. I think we'll do a 1 bedroom from now on - we can only vacation for a week and go in the off times, so we should be able to do a one bedroom easily.

Both of us really enjoyed each and every "Welcome Home" we got. Perhaps it's just as first timers, but even my husband, who is not the sentimental sort, mentioned that he really liked that.

Seeing those really low bills when we checked out (food, food, all food - well, and one Sunrise Safari) was pretty nice. All in all, a good trip home!

Thank you for the report and sounds like you enjoyed your DVC vacation!

I have stayed at BWI & YC/BC resorts and enjoyed them, so I encourage you to try either BCV or BWV.

Thanks for your report! We look forward to trying out VWL some day. We've stayed at WL and loved the atmosphere so I know it would be really nice in a one bedroom!

Definetly try out BWV or BCV too. We just came back from our first stay at BWV and really enjoyed it also. The location was a big hit with all of us!!

We also really enjoyed the bill at the end!!!
