Trip Highs & Lows 23rd-26th December (with some photos)

We was very lucky enough to spend Christmas at Disneyland Paris this year and I just wanted to share my highs, lows and some general feedback.

Highs

Highlight for me was definitely meeting Anna and Elsa On Christmas Day along with Duffy and ShellieMay.

The Christmas tree lighting ceremony, wow it's so beautiful. A step up from previous years along with the new tree. Totally gorgeous!

Christmas version of Magic On Parade, loved seeing it on Christmas Day and the interaction with all the characters was a lot of fun.

We had the Founders Club dinner in Castle Club on Christmas Eve, the view was gorgeous and it felt very festive, we also met some characters while eating there.

Going to watch Frozen (again) in 3D in Paris on Christmas Eve was a perfect way to end the day.

Lows

Cafe Mickey, what has happened to this place? We ate here with some friends before we had to leave to go home and the service was dreadful. The waiter was so RUDE and clearly couldn't give a toss. The characters were in a dreadful condition. Goofy was fat and short, Pluto looked dirty. The Chipmunks you could see clearly didn't want to be there and hardly interacted with anyone. I'm trying to remove what a awful meal it was from my head. I was shocked. The prices have also gone up too and I don't feel the service matches the prices anymore.

Welcome back, fab pics. The Arendelle transformation of the Dome looks amazing!! Any word on Shellie Mae being out and about more often? They are so cute in their outfits.

Welcome home....fab photos! Sorry to hear cafe Mickey going down.....not the first I have heard of this....will need ti pull it's socks up or we will be giving it a miss for first time since 2004!!

Welcome back, fab pics. The Arendelle transformation of the Dome looks amazing!! Any word on Shellie Mae being out and about more often? They are so cute in their outfits.

As far as I know, ShellieMay is special events only right now. BUT I have a feeling that next year they might use these outfits for Christmas (I'm probably wrong ). I'm hoping she will have her official park debut for then.

As far as I know, ShellieMay is special events only right now. BUT I have a feeling that next year they might use these outfits for Christmas (I'm probably wrong ). I'm hoping she will have her official park debut for then.

The Dome is where they hold special events, it's near Mcdonalds on the walk to the Newport Bay Club.

Does anyone know is ShellieMay will be making anymore appearances at DLP? I know the wife would love to see her, but you can only officially meet at Tokyo!
