I noticed that post about the water not being part of the lake, from what I understood it was still kind of lake water but filtered or something?

could be - i don't know...
it definitely had something in it - because if you opened your eyes underwater, you got that same stingy feel you do when you open them in a swimming pool...

Awww thank-you for posting the link! That was great to watch, I loved visiting DI. You can see by looking at where the idea of AK came from, as the walk through exhibits are very similar to the entrance ones at AK!
