Trip Docs?

We just booked our trip on Wednesday through WDT and we leave on 9/2. I am anxious to receive our trip docs so I called WDT back and they said they would be expedited to us. But all she could tell me is that they would go out on Thursday and we'd receive them within 5 days. I'm guessing she means business days?? We leave next Sunday!

Did any of you book your trips late like we have? Did they FedEx your docs to you? Or does it just come Priority Mail? Or via UPS (blech!)??

Nobody answered me

We received our trip docs via UPS on Friday, however we still have not yet received our ME bag tags. If they don't arrive by Tuesday I'll call WDT.

Ok I have a question what is WTD?! I am wanting to book our trip but I have been waiting to find the best place did they give you a good deal?!

WDT= Walt Disney Travel, would be my guess, but I am still fairly new and don't know all of the abreviations.

I'm probably not the best DISer to ask about getting a good deal as we just booked our last minute trip this past Monday. We leave this coming Sunday. It was totally a spur of the moment decision as neither one of us has been to WDW in a very long time.

Alot of ppl go through AAA but we aren't members. I didn't find this board until after we had already booked online directly on Disney's website. If I were you, and I would have done this had we planned our trip further out, I would do all of my research reading this DISboard. Make your decisions on where to day, what kind of park tix to get, etc. Price out your trip on the Disney website then go to travel agents to see what they can get for you based on your selections. This way you'll know what the rack rate is compared to the 'deal' you can get from an agent.

Also, I just bought this book this week... the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World... the 2008 guide was just released this week. Here's a 25% off coupon from Border's bookstore but it expires tomorrow. This one is for 20% off and it expires on 8/30. I have found loads of info in the book and it's quite amusing too!
