OK, I know this might be a lot to ask....but I might as well try. I am trying to figure it out myself, but it is pretty hard.

What would it cost for:
2 adults, 1 Junior- 6 night/7 day, Standard view stay at the Dolphin (WITH teacher discount), plus a Resort Magic Plan

Would it be cheaper to buy just an Ultimate Park Hopper ticket instead of Resort Magic? If so, how much cheaper?

I am extremely sorry if this is too much work, but I have been racking my brain the past couple hours and can't find it out. If anyone takes the time to figure this out, I thank you more than you can imagine!

If my understanding is correct, your room rate would be $129 for teacher discount. The price for the UHP for 6/7 is $348 for adults, less for the junior I'm sure. There are also discounts AAA or DC available for these. Just call CRO...you don't have to book, but they could give you the total...with taxes. The resort magic only really offers 1 flex per peron, which many use for breakfast. Character breakfasts are under $20 for adults, less for juniors. Just add up the seperate parts and compare with the complete package price you are given. Hope this helps...

Have you considered not getting a package and buying Park Hopper Plusses instead?

You can book your room at the teacher's rate of $129.00 and then buy Park Hopper Plusses. Ultimate Park Hopper and Resort Magic expire when you leave. Unused days on the Park Hoppers are good forever!

Prices are: 5-day with 2 plusses is $249.10, 6-day with 3 plusses is $278.78, 7-day with 4 plusses is $308.46. The junior tickets for 3-9 year olds are about $50 cheaper. The plusses will get you into the water parks and Pleasure Island.

For example, if we were going for 7 days, I might buy a five day pass and on the two days we don't go to the parks we would use the plusses and go to water parks, Downtown Disney/Disney Quest (not included) or just hang out at the resort.
