Hi everybody

What a fantastic forum!!! I have booked my first ever trip to Disneyland Paris for Jan 22ND....Our family consits of 2 adults and 2 children 3 and 7 years.

I am confused as to what time the park open and closes and if the park closes early what is there to do after .....Is the Disney village still open?:cool1:

Could any body also give me a full list of all the shows that are on as I think that I may not know about some. The ones that I know about are buffalo bills, and a few others at the walt disney studios. Are there any others that I should know about....I dont want to miss out!

Any help much appreciated!

I highly recommend this website for the kinds of questions you have:

http://www.dlrpmagic.com/

It's more up to date than the DLPR site and gives loads of detailed information and pictures.

You don't say how long you're staying, but the park opening hours for the weekdays 22nd January onwards are 10-19.00 for Disneyland Park, and 10-18.00 for the Studios, both stay open one hour later at the weekend. Getting in earlier than that depends on whether you stay onsite or have a Dream AP.

If you spend all day in the parks, you may find you are ready for bed a lot earlier than normal, but I'll leave this one for the regulars.

I'm sure you'll have lots more questions between now and then - I'm continually mining the knowledge of these guys.

Have a great time
Lucy

Hi,

Welcome!

The Disney Village stays open well after the parks close, even in January. We have never been at DLRP when the parks have been open past 7pm, so we usually go for dinner after that, and then some shopping at the shops in the Disney Village.

To be honest, we pack so much into each day, we are usually (both adult and children) tucked up in bed not long after 9.30pm, and asleep not long after that!

I agree with all the above posters.
Buffalo Bill's is really the only dinner show available at DLRP but for times and locations of the shows in the parks check out the websites listed above in the earlier posts.
For dinner options, remember that besides the restaurants at the Village, you can also use the restaurants and bars in all the hotels.
The Village has live entertainment on sometimes too, although not sure if there will be any in January
By the way we will be there at the same time as you:yay: We check in to the Disneyland Hotel on 21st and check out on 24th. See ya there!!! :thumbsup2

There is also a Nex Games Arcade and a large Cinema which shows films in English on certain days, we've never been to either. Like the other posters, we've been several times when the park has closed early and found that having a nice sit down meal in the evening and a nitecap (I have a thing for Disney Cocktails) in the hotel bar after is all we need before we hit the sack. :)
