Tried to book the 4 nights get 3

offer for March during youngest son's spring break. He's been bugging us that he hasn't been to Disney since 2000 and really wants to go. He turns 21 in May so we thought we would take him for an early birthday. Unfortunately, CSR is not available during the dates we can go and I know he won't want to stay at Pop which is available--our kid snever liked the values (and, truthfully, neither do I want to stay at Pop). I really don't want to pay for deluxe as I won't pay deluxe for just DH and I because we just really love CSR. I'm frustrated right now because I was really hoping to surprise him. I'll have to give this some thought.

I was trying to book the CSR for the first week in March and it showed that they were booked the first two weeks in March. I checked all the other resorts and they were booked as well (Using the 4 nights 3 additional free promo). I was really bummed! Does anyone know why this would be?

BTW, We are going to be at the CSR on Feb 27-March 1 for a business trip and was trying to extend our stay at the same resort.

I just punched up the first week of March for CSR and CBR for two adults and offers came up.

They seem to have cabins available for the whole month of March.

Keep trying. I wanted the contemporary or CSR for our trip in January, and it they showed up about 10 days after final payment. I'm guessing they had rooms blocked for a convention.

Book another moderate and check regularly. I'd suggest POR or POFQ.

I would keep calling back and trying to get CSR . Sometimes people cancel as it gets closer to the 45 day mark. in the mean time maybe you could book POFQ. I know you love CSR and if you had to try another POFQ would be your choice. I bet if you call and check everyday something for CSR will come up.

KatMark have you ever thought of renting dvc points and staying at either BCV or BWV beautiful resorts and if your like me and love Epcot and DHS walkin distance..Good Luck..

Thanks everyone for your suggestions, etc. As of now, I'm going to keep trying to get CSR because, as you all know, it is our "home away from home". Youngest son also wants to go to Vegas since he is turning 21, so if the CSR doesn't pan out (sorry, we just don't care for the CBR, MickeyNicki), maybe we'll do that instead.

I'd say keep calling and checking to see if you can get the room you want.

I have 5 in my party so we were stuck paying for the poly. Which is really nice but not cost effective. I kept trying and was able to get a family suite at the value resort that just opened up one afternoon after someone cancelled. So I snagged it and saved over a thousand dollars. I was very happy.

So anyways, keep checking. You may get lucky and someone with the room you want may cancel.

I did this last year so I know it could be done last year....

Check online to find a range of dates during your dates that the CSR is available. For instance (using my dates) March 13th to March 20th is not available. But when you add a few days to each end March 11th to 21st is. Call and book it but do not pay your deposit yet. A little later call back and modify your reservation to your exact dates. You will then have the dates you want at the CSR. As I said I did this last year and had no problem. Unless they changed things you should be able to do this.

I'm so sorry you cant get CSR -- I know you love it there. I would make reservations at AKL (if you can -- I know it's more $$$ but the deal will help some) and then keep trying to get CSR. I think that as the time gets closer, people will cancel their reservations and what you really want may open up. Good luck!
