Tried to apply FLAres code but reservations systems down til Jan 2!!

I just called CRO to try to apply the Florida residents code BEW* to my existing reservation but the CM told me their system is down until Jan 2nd!! That bites! They dangle a code in front of me but I can't apply it? Why didn't they wait to release the code? I'm confused.

Has this happened to anyone else? Or did the CM just give me bogus info?

I understand that the systems were being taken down this weekend to make the changeover to the new MYW packages. During that this time, the CMs will not be able to access your ressie to make any changes or modifications.

What she told you is true. The CM's are probably there for MYW package and ticket training and to let people know about the systems are down until Sunday. They can't make, change or apply anything to your reservation. They will be back up and running first thing Sunday morning.

Yep., I got the same information when I called this morning to make my Florida Resident Reservations...

They can't even get into the systems until 1/2 because of the conversions, plus many of them still have to go through 5 hours of training. Hey I wish that I could find some stuff out as well, but in $36 hours or so we will beable to get whatever information that we need.

Not sure when the code was released but I saw it 12/31 on the DisneyWorld website.

UPDATE: Code applied! Saved about $27 which will help pay for lunch at Teppanyaki.
