Just wanted to say tried the charging locker with adapters.

Lucky wife has an android and I a iPhone so we could charge both at the same time.

Did go over an hr had to pay 2 more bucks no big deal.

Like the idea so it worked good .

We always charge our phones at the hotel during the night. Phone signal is poor for most anything expect Verizon (which partners with Disney). Poor signal causes our phones to go on roam a lot which uses more battery but still lasts the day.

Wifes phone charges quickly. An hour charge will bring it from 0 to almost 100%. But my phone takes 2-3 hours or so to fully charge. I haven't seen a need for charging stations but I suppose if kids are using them for games, facebook, texting etc. constantly while waiting in line maybe its a good idea?

I found a list of electrical outlets online on a site that said DL didn't care if you used them. So I was charging behind a building in New Orleans Square and they told me I couldn't so I went and charged near the corn dog stand and a cast member told me I could charge inside the PhotoPass store so I went there and they said, no, you can't charge anywhere in the park. So I went to the fire station and hid behind the fire truck and charged there :)

I guess I really wanted that juice!

I think you are correct. The popularity of battery-draining apps on iPhones and iPads has created a need for a small amount of these lockers. They will also come in handy when people like myself immediately crash at the hotel and fail to properly plan for the next day.

I just bought extra batteries on Amazon. I got 2 extra batteries, and a wall charger for like 20 bucks. Haven't went with them yet, but when one dies I will just swap out my dead one for a charged on and away we go. I plan on using my phone for a lot of pics and possibly videos.

My BFF has a charger she carries in her purse, it's got different adapters to charge different electronics and she charges the charger daily. She always has her charger with her. I've seen plenty of people just sitting on the ground with their phone plugged in, I've felt I might have to do that but I've been lucky so far. A full charge will last for my phone, I may lose it at the end of the night but so far that's worked out.
