It was just myself, dd19 and ds 11. My husband and ds16 wanted to hit the beach. We thought it was good. It is served family style. You get fruit, pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and mickey waffles. Since we had the last ressie time of 10:55..we only had a quick picture with Goofy and Donald. As soon as 11:00 hit they were outta there. It was not near as magical as Disney's character breakfasts and our CM was not too happy to be there. :confused3 The price was 16.99. So I guess it is worth trying if you are headed to Vero...maybe an earlier time would have been better and we might have had more character interaction.

Well, it's too bad that the characters seemed rushed. When you can get a reservation you should be able to enjoy the whole experience. I'm surprised and would mention it in a review to MS.

We did the Pirate dinner and probably got the first seating, very close to 5PM and it did have every bit as good character interaction as any of the other events we've ever been too. The kids got to march around and get official Pirate certificates as well.

There was a table that sat down before us...they had just gotten their pastries and fruit and then when the food came I think the parents thought the characters would stay until the end...because they told their daughter they would get a picture of her and Donald but she needed to eat first. Well that never happened. :sad1:

I don't find the CM's here to be near as friendly as Disney resorts/parks. I mean there are a couple but nothing like I expected.

Wow. In the very least the fact that the character would be leaving should have been mentioned.

We have always been so very impressed with the kindness and care that the VB cast members have given us. What sort of interaction did you have? My DGC are younger and did a fair amount of crafts, and we got to know the CM very well. One of my DGD is meticulous, but she was never rushed.

I see you would like to plan a cruise next, and our family loves cruising. We went on our first when our DSs were 15 and 18, it was an American Hawaii cruise (now defunct) but it sold us all (but one of us) on those type of vacations.

Happy Planning!

We ate there in Oct and 7:30 a.m. the day we arrived. We really enjoyed it. Goofy and I waltzed across the room. We had lots of character time w/ Donald and Goofy. Breakfast was good. The server was bit of an air head. She was the only weak link to all of the Vero staff.

Maybe if we had eaten at an earlier time we would have seen more of the characters....... the characters were great the few minutes we had them, but they left the scene as soon as 11:00 hit.

The CM's at Bleachers were hit or miss.......as far as friendliness goes.

Our waiter at breakfast really acted like he didn't want to be there.

The front desk cast members were nice.

There was a young guy working in the store and he was very quiet/shy. We tried to talk to him on two occasions and he was super shy. Some of the lifeguards seem to enjoy their jobs...others didn't. I don't know....it was JUST DIFFERENT here than at Disney as far as CM's go.
