Tricky Track Swap Frozen Try?

How crazy is this plan:

Early morning hours at Epcot:
1) At gate before 8 am opening.
2) Head to Test track with DW, DS5, DS2 and grab a rider swap ticket while DW + DS2 then travel to FEA
3) Me and DS5 ride TT, while DW+ DS2 ride FEA.
4) Meet at Garden Grill for 9:15 breakfast
5) Continue touring and get back to TT eventually so DW and DS5 can ride with swap ticket.

I've not used rider swap. Do you need to stay by the ride in a designated area as stated on website? Is this even possible? I've seen FEA times under 20 minutes for the first hour of park opening and that's about the same for TT if you head in right away.

No you just have to have the non riding child there to get the swap. They can then leave. You can use the swap later.

Sounds like a good plan to me. Once you have the rider swap pass the child not riding does not need to stay in the area. They just need to be there to get the pass initially.

Sometimes they don't give out swap passes early in the morning. You should probably be prepared for that.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm not really worried if I can't ride TT but I think my older son might want to do that instead of FEA.

Is that all rides or just TT? I don't recall what times we tried to get the pass but we never had any problems. Interesting.
