Okay, so we attempted Fantasmic on our DL trip and failed miserably. The ASD member of our party simply could not cope with the crowd.

Has anyone had success with the dessert seating? Is it reasonably spacious? Or do you have any other tips for a less cramped viewing? After this experience, $60 a seat is sounding down right reasonable.

I did the dessert party while at DL during the Easter week and didn't want the desserts- just the seating! As there are folding chairs, there is plenty of space w/o being crowded or pushed and shoved. I did get to the podium early to check in as they then assign your seats, but after that you are free to go enjoy the park until the return time they tell you. For me, it was worth every penny to avoid the "herding" experience. Oh...and the view is dead center and unobstructed.---Kathy

Thanks! I think we'll definitely do it next time. It's pricey, but DS (13) was really looking forward to Fantasmic and then got totally overwhelmed and had to leave and then felt bad for "spoiling our evening" even though we kept reassuring him that we didn't care about Fantasmic enough to have him unhappy... Spectrum kiddos can take this stuff so hard. :( It's one of the few things I wish we'd done differently this trip. It just seemed like a lot of money for a free show. Would have been worth it!
