Any secrets from people just back on the Star Wars Jedi light saber training? Were going next week and my DS would flip if he got picked. I heard they do it quite a few times during the day. Were only going for a short trip and I think were going over there the first day we get there. Thanks in advance. :)

 err ... aah ... Jump up and down and yell :yay: pick me :yay: pick me?

That's right. Just have your DS jump up and down and act really excited. If anybody in your family, especially DS, has a Star Wars shirt, wear it that day and go crazy. That really is your best bet.

Our daughter was four last summer and is the biggest Star Wars fan! She lives and breaths Star Wars...the bedding in her room is even Star Wars... just painting the picture for you.

Anyway...
We got there about 10 - 15 Min before the training started, we were in the center right in front of the Stage and when it started the Jedi, his name escapes me at this time, sorry, started picking children. Our DD was jumping up and down in her Star Wars robe and T Shirt and he asked my husband and I if we were sure, the crowd turns and looks at DD and started clapping as she walked away to the stage with her head held up high. She did great, she battled Darth Vader and they were so cute about her being so small.

My advice is have your Star Wars crazed young one go crazy and that will catch their eye. Hope this helps?

Like others said - get there fairly early (we were there 15 minutes before) and jump up and down. They seemed to be going for smaller kids - maybe 5 to 8 range. I was surprised at how many kids they took - at least a dozen.

We were there last year and went back a total of 4 times throughout the day in an attempt to get DD chosen. The crowds are there long before the show start, at least a half-hour/45 minutes. I agree, wave arms and get excited! The first few times she was kind of reserved/shy/unobtrusive and never got a glance. She did end up getting to do it though, and LOVED it. They give the kids a certificate for being a Padawan Jedi, and a Star Wars action figure (I think she got a Wookiee.)

What month did you go last year?

We went in June, I believe it was the last weekend of SWW. I can't remember the exact dates off the top of my head though.
