Hey there! I'm traveling to teh WWoHp in February (along with a few other days at Disney) and I just want to check out any tricks/tips/advice you guys have.

I've been to Hogsmeade before so I know the butterbeer trick and such, but I just read that you can take a tour through Hogwarts, and I didn't know that so I want to make sure that I don't miss anything else!

P.S. I'm trying to keep Diagon Alley/Gringotts the upmost surprise for me, so anything that will give anything away about it can you write spoiler before and I'll have my sister read it and remember for the trip? Thanks!!:stir: pixiedust:

Remember that you need to get a two park ticket in order to do both parks and ride the Hogwarts Express.

What's the butter beer trick and such???

Planning our first trip in Mar. & have only been told to try butterbeer. I didn't know there was insider info! I wi be following this thread closely to see what else I can learn.

Make sure you take advantage of EE and the 2 hours before closing. Those are the times that it is least crowded.

Yes you can get in line at FJ and tell them you want to take the castle tour only. The exit will be right before you get to the loading station, and if you wanted to ride at that point you would have the option to get into the single rider line. The tour is really cool to get pictures and see everything just remember no flash! Lol.

Other than that it will be crowded no matter what, depending on time of year FJ and Gringotts will have long lines depending on the day of the week/time of day. If you are a beer drinker I would suggest trying the hogs head ale in hogsmede and the dragon scale in diagonal alley.

Have fun!

I think she probably meant not to line up at the Butterbeer stations outside, but to go to Hogshead Pub for it instead. It is attached to Three Broomsticks.

Get butterbeer ice cream at the shop next to the ice cream place. You can only get a cup not a cone but the line was much shorter.

what do you mean by EE? (edit: you probably mean Early Entry. if so, im staying off resort, but i bought my ticket through dreams unlimited travel so who knows. we're planning on gettgin there at 8:15 to work out any kinks and maybe get the early entry)

and thank you! you dont see any extra stuff with the hogwarts tour, right? but i'll probably do it anyways :) im thinking we'll go to US first, go on the minions ride, then go to Diagon Alley and spend the morning there or so, and eat at the Leaky Caudlron. Depending on how much time we want to spend at Diagon Alley, we'll take the train to hogwarts before or after lunch.

What is fj? What is this tour?

Only been to first HP and know nothing about second park. Also going in February! Yippee

Is it best to ride train first and so "go"to park you aren't visiting f or the day?

Thanks

I definitely would ride the train early in the morning. If not you could be waiting up to 75min in line. I also like going early so you can take your time through the line and take pictures without feeling rushed.
