Trick-or-Treating

Can anyone tell me if there is places to trick-or-treat besides the MNSSHP like in Downtown Disney or at the resorts? We are staying at AKV Kidani over Halloween and my wife wants to know if we should bother bring the kids costumes along to go trick-or-treat? Thanks for the help and I'm sure this has been asked server times so I apologize.

They do trick or treating at the Boardwalk at the little shops and restaurants on Halloween. Then on the grass area they have a DJ set up, with craft tables for the kids. We had a blast, got to wear our costumes for that and to the party another night. My husband actually thought this was really fun because of the DJ.

I'm curious about this too. We will be arriving on 10/31...probably @ 8pm. I'm torn between staying around the Boardwalk area for the night.....if the activities run that late...and staying near downtown Disney...(again...if the activities run that late...).

Does anyone know if the festivities/ trick or treating end early...or what time they run until?

There is TorT at DTD on the 31st. Think it starts around 6pm. Anyone can do it. Not just the kids. Each store had a TorT spot where they gave out candy.

Last year on Halloween we were at DTD until around 9 PM or so (I think) and the place was still hopping when we left for Fantasia Gardens. Lots of people but not over crowded.
