Trick or Treating around the Resorts

I know some of the resorts have Trick or Treating on Halloween for guests- if you have been, can you tell me a bit more about what to expect? Staying at AKV on Halloween.

Been at Jambo House during Halloween at Concierge level and there were some halloween craft things for the kids, no trick or treating that I was aware of.
You could maybe check with the front desk and ask. Not sure if Kidani has anything going on, maybe check with Community Hall, they may have some activities.

We've been there on Halloween and never found trick-or-treating but there have been crafts.

The only resort I can think of that has ever had something similar (and it may have been at the guest's discretion rather than being organized by Disney) is Fort Wilderness. But it's been a while since I even heard about that. I think once the parties really caught on most people go there for their trick or treating.

Haven't seen any ToT'ing at the resorts either.

Have not heard at any of the resorts, only campground.
They do have plenty of activities to do, here are some samples from POP, CSR and AKL.

Regarding the campground, not sure what is in place now or for this year. I know there was recent discussion that due to so many locals etc coming in to Trick or Treat via buses and boats, that the campground might start limiting it to campground guests only. Many of those that decorate it up and hand out candy were complaining that the crush of people was ruining it. I certainly can understand. We were a Halloween Disney resort guest last year and opted not to go because of the description of the crowds.
