Trick or treat party or Princess dinner?

Oct. 8th my DD age 6 will be celebrating her 7th b-day at DL. I want to do something special for her since it's also her first time at DL. I'm debating between the trick or treat party or the Princess dinner. Her favorite holiday is Halloween!!!! Any advice would be appreciated.

I'd vote trick or treat party. It was so much fun when I went last year. Dance parties, very short (and on some ride's nonexistent) waits, and of course the trick or treating!

I also vote for the trick or treat party! We went last year with 3 and 4 year old girls and we also did the princess lunch during our trip. The lunch was fun and we saw 5 princesses(Ariel,Snow white, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Cinderella) but we also saw Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Pocahontas at the party and Mickey, Minnie, Cinderella's Stepmother and sisters (they are hilarious) and a few other villians at the party. There is a bit more interaction at the Princess meal, but not much more than at the party. Plus as dragonflycurls said the dancing, trick or treat and other activities are so much fun, esp if halloween is your DD fav. holiday! The down side to the party is that you do have to wait in line to see the characters and princesses vs. having them come to your table at the meals. Good luck with your decision! Im sure your daughter will have fun at either one.

If she really loves Halloween then she should do that. You can still go to the PFF and see some princesses. Also, if she really likes princess stuff and you can afford it you might consider looking into the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique -- we are doing that for my 5 yr old when we go in September.

Absolutely do the trick or treat party. They always do it so well for Halloween and it will be a neat experience for her. You can see the princesses elsewhere but the trick or treat party is a special event.
