lol that was not my first thought ( yes i admitto buying 2 extra bags of goodies that i hid till today and refuseing to let dd into them too) try and find a local retailer having a costume contest, a restaurant that is offering free burgers or what not to kids in costume, check to see if a local radio station, or boys and girls club is having a halloween party, call a local nursing facility and see if the kids could come and pass out t reats to th residents this after noon( reverse the trick or treet thing for the elderly they love it) if all else fails,, dress them up,, keep candy with you for a few hours and let them t&T you during the evening,
do they have a few friends in the neighborhood? perhaps you could have a mini party..nothing huge, but put out candy, have hot dogs or similar, everyone in costume.
