Trial period for a new type of express

Thanksgiving is on Thursday the 22nd so expect very long lines on Friday and Saturday. Starting on the 25th the crowds will most likely be minimal though. The Sunday after Thanksgiving is usually when people start travelling home so the rest of your trip shouldn't be busy.

We will get there on Sat. the 23rd but in the afternoon. I figured we get settled in our condo- have a nice slow paced dinner and go to Cirque du Soleil with our group. On Sunday is when the fun begins and it will be non stop til we leave the following saturday. I was told that we probably wouldn't run into very long lines but that person was guessing as to the time of year- not from experience. That's why I asked here- So many experts on actually going to the parks- not just advertising them.
Thanks!

How we gonna do that? :confused3 Most of us don't have enough experience with the purchased EPs to put together an intelligible argument. Now, if she posts on the UO Resorts board that the hotels are all going up a minimum $100/ night above their rack rate, she better put on a double layer of flame retardent suits. :rotfl:

:rotfl:

i think the term "flame phamton" is an oxymoron

So, I am to understand this "trial run" is just for Spring Break?? When will it "officially" end?? Wonder if they'll reinstate it for summer??

(not that it matters for us....:rolleyes1 )

if the trial run makes a lot of money for universal, i can guess it will continue at different times.

hopefully not at hhn time.........it's long lines even with the ep at times.

I'm going during spring break. And selfishly hoping not many people get those passes. (I dont want my lines to be longer):flower3:

They could make a ton of money by putting ticket stands in front of the most popular rides. I think the issue is getting as much money without ruining the experience for the hotel guests and those in the regular line. It's just like HHN, they can let 20K+ people into the event like they did last year, but then the houses have long lines and everyone gets frustrated. It's a delayed reaction because if people have a bad time, they won't come back yet Universal won't know that's the reason for a few weeks until the ride ops report everyone is frustrated and the suits finally listen.
