Triad brand ecv experience?

Does anyone own a Triad brand scooter?

Have you traveled with it on an airplane?

How comfortable is the ride?

Is it easy to disassemble?

We had a wave of that "Triad" style vendors (with different brand names) at our state fair for 2 years. The second year, several of them literally closed their booths and left because of the number of people who brought back inoperable scooters, demanding repairs or refunds. We spoke to several vendors who had purchased them, and two different vendors told us that theirs did not last a week before failing.

I personally examined one, and found that the construction was sub-par, and the portability was not as advertised. Speaking to people who purchased them, my fears were confirmed; there were failures of everything from batteries to the seat, to wheels that fell off.

I would avoid that style.
