There is some limited information out there right now. I am following T-Rex with interest because I am a mom to 3 small boys. :) Following are some threads that I've subscribed to that have good information. I am sure that there is more out there. This is a hot topic :goodvibes

Pricing, we are assuming that it'll be very close to the Kansas City Location http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1971367

Apparently they aren't on the DDP as yet, and people are speculating that they will NOT be on it. Just walk-ups until January, and here's the site:

I think the "build-a-dino" sounds like a lot of fun!

Here is the info I have found out about T-Rex. We plan to go during our April trip. DD loves dinos!!!

Opening Oct. 14th (my DD's birthday at that) and being ran by the Landry company that also runs the Rainforest Cafes.

It is somehow tied in with the Build-A-Bear company also. They are going to have a section with Build-A-Dino at Trex cafe.

There is only one other one that I am aware of in the US. That's in Kansas City, KS. The following links are connected to that restuarant.

This is a PDF link to a copy of the Kansas City's menu. It should be pretty much the same at DTD.

Look to your left and under the Menus click "view our t-rex menu".

When I called for our ADR's (T-Rex is listed as a DDP restaurant on the wdwinfo site) the CM told me that she thinks they will be on the DDP, but wish to schedule their own reservations. She didn't have any contact info. yet, and told me to watch T-Rex's chain web site for it.

Thanks Tricia and HGOF79 for that info. I am on the dining plan but I always go DTD the day right before I go to the airport so I think I'll og there and pay OOP for my last Disney meal before flying home.

According to the email from T-Rex to a poster, they will not be accepting the standard dining plans.

From another post (link in my above post)

Thank you for your inquiry for T-REX Orlando! We are currently under construction but are planning to open our doors this October after Columbus Day. We will be on a walk-in basis only until 2009. The date we will start accepting reservations has not been determined at this time. You may call 407-828-TREX for any updates. T-REX Orlando will be accepting the Premium, Platinum and Wine and Dine Disney Dining Programs for those with dining plans.

While you are in the area, don't forget to check out either one of our two Rainforest Cafe locations at Disney World!

Thank you again for your email and we look forward to joining you on a prehistoric journey!
