Alright, I've been working on this trip for a year, and now we're 30 days out!! We are at the THV, there area 8 of us, we're on the deluxe dining plan, all ADR's are made, and I think I'm ready, just have a few questions.

Internet access....we'll have at least 3 laptops with us, it has been cofirmed...we have a wireless router here at home, will that work if we bring it with us, or do we need something else?

Transportation....This has been the bane of my existence since I found out we were staying at the THV's. Please tell me it's not that bad!!! We've stayed at the Cabins at FW before, and didn't find the transportation all that bad there...just needed a little more time. Is it like that at the THV too? We will have one stroller and my wheelchair, but with 8 of us...parking 2 cars seems a little harsh, so Disney transportation seems to be the best option.

Pull out sofa.....Is it comfortable? The Nephew is sleeping on that, he's 19, but I still worry about comfort for him. Don't want ANY complaints on this trip LOL.

We're not staying on points, we got the military discount, so we're on cash, so I'm guessing we get daily mousekeeping? Do they refill the H2O products every day? I have the bigger bottles here at home, and LOVE that stuff, so will be using it up while I'm there and not packing shampoo and stuff.

Pack and Play....Do I need to request one, or is there one already in the room? Seems like it's on the inventory, but just wanted to double check. Also, will it fit ok in the 2nd queen bedroom? That's where our Niece and her husband is sleeping, and will want the baby with them. I'm putting the boys, 13 and 5 in the bunk room.

Bathrooms.....should we assign them, or just as needed? As of right now, DH and I are in the master, so DS who is 13 will be using the master bathroom, but with our nephew, who's camping in the living room, what should we do with him? Let him use ours, or share the other one with the family of 4? Or just tell him to use whichever is open? I know there's no locks on the bathrooms, so my one rule is gonna be if the door is closed, it's occupied!!!

I think that's it for now......I'm super excited, but am worried about the remote location. I know you guys over here have the answers!!!

Thanks!!!

Bring your wireless router as the only Internet access is Ethernet in master bedroom

Buses run regularly thru THV, just be patient as it always seems like the bus just leaves 30 seconds before you get there

You will only get one parking spot, unless you have a handicap tag

The pull out sofa (couch) is actually pretty nice, I was surprised. Just tell him freeloaders do not get a right to complain

What was your cash price ? and yes, they should provide daily housekeeping. I don;t know about the water you are referring to.

Pack and play is in front closet. Yes it should fit in second bedroom, but it will be tight and may require set-up/don each day to give maximum room to move around

The master bathroom is "cooler" than the guest bathroom. How you divide it up is up to you. I say - first come first served.

Definitely bring a router.

I thought the transportation was pretty bad. Depending on the timing, you can wait a long time. 10 minutes to wait at THV, then catch the bus to Springs and you could wait another 20 minutes for a park bus. Add the actual bus ride time and you have lost an hour getting to/from THV each way.

The sofa was fine. The real negative is the location; once you open it up, it blocks the walkway into the master bathroom and then you have to walk through the kitchen.

The second bathroom is pretty small. And the master bathroom is on the other side of the master bedroom, not close to the bedroom entrance. I wouldn't want anyone traipsing through there after I went to bed.

The H2O products should be replenished the same way they would do in a regular hotel room.

I actually do have a handicapped tag, one for each car, but we didn't get an accessable treehouse. My dh likes the big tubs since we have one here at home, so I didn't want to give that up, and I can do stairs at least once per day, so as long as I don't run to the car a million times, I'll be alright with the steps.

The cash price was 40% off the regular rate of $665, so the lodging part is only $1600 for 4 nights. The dining plan for 7 people was the huge cost, it added about 2k to the price, and we don't need tickets since DH and I are AP holders, and we got the military tickets for family. I have heard that the military deal was the best out there....so if there's something better LOL

Anyways, thanks for the info....I'll keep that in mind about the transportation!!

I am sure that you already know this but just in case you don't, if you are staying on a cash reservation, you will not get internet for free. It will be the $9.95 charge for 24 hours (I think that is still the same fee).

If you are getting daily mousekeeping, then they should replenish the H20 products daily.

Have a great trip!

Thanks Sandi! Yea, I knew it was gonna cost us, but the niece and nephew, and me for that matter, can't live without our laptops, poor DH has a work phone, so that's attached to him all the time LOL

Good to know about the H2O stuff, just LOVE that stuff!!! :) I'm ready to go NOW!! LOL
