Treehouses possible DVC

The golf cart was half the fun of staying there! We loved driving it back and forth to the "village". And at $10 a day (circa 1987), it was a super bargain.

I don't think you'll see the $10 per day price on golf carts if/when the Treehouses return. Golf cart rentals are up to $40ish per day at Fort Wilderness (ouch!) and I"d expect they'd be the same, or similar, at the Treehouses.

We stayed once, the treehouses were pretty cool but rather out of the way; perfect for golfers.

Very interesting. I would love to see this become a reality. Every time we're on one of the boats and we pass them, I always think about what it would look like if there were families in them and they were all lite up at night.

Yup, I know they'll never be that cheap again, but it would sure be cool if they'd be available - steep but an option like at Ft. Wilderness. We stayed in the Club Suite Villas (or whatever they were called by that time) in 2000 not long before they closed, and we really missed having the carts. We'd wanted a last go at a Treehouse, but nothing was available. I'd love to see the new ones as part of DVC.
