peter11435, I find your comment extremely offensive. I can give you plenty of accurate information about Disney, being that I have worked for the company for over 9 years. Feel free to come in my shop this weekend and ask me when the fireworks are, where can you catch the bus, etc. But make a rude comment like that to me.....don't even think about it.

I don't know why you were so offended. I never said CM were stupid or anything. I also never implied that CM don't know "when the fireworks are, or where can you catch the bus." I simply meant that CM are not told about future plans and legal details. As a CM you should know that is true. CM are great sourced of information when it comes to things like you mention, however they are not an authority when it comes to the status of land, or the future plans of the company. I still fail to see where I was rude. I only stated that CM are not told anything (about stuff like this) before the general public is told. And you can't deny the fact that many CM do spread rumors, even some they no are false. Afterall if you believe everything a CM tells you then they have started construction on a monorail expansion about 15 times in the last 5 years.

I was a CM for 5 years and I agree with doombuggy. What an insult. There are plenty of CM's out there with great knowledge and information. Of course you may run into some newbies that will misquote information they were given, but why give CM's such a bad name?

Again CM are great when it comes to their jobs and information relating to their jobs. However they do not have inside information about the future projects of the WDC, or the status of land. Any information they do have is just as much a rumor as what we see on here. I too have been a CM. I am not trying to be rude, CM are great. But Disney does not tell us anymore than they tell the guests about these types of things. How many boat drivers have retold the story about how the monorail was supposed to go throught the Swan and Dolphin. I am not trying to give CM a bad name, I am just trying to make people understand that they should not believe everything someone tells them even if they are a CM.
