Treehouse Villas

I miss the treehouse villas. Does anyone know if they will reopen them.

I believe that whole area is being turned onto a DVC resort called Saratoga Springs. They have torn down the area and are building. I don't know if the treehouses have been torn down or if they will be part of the DVC in their current format.

The treehouses where still there in Feb.2003, but they all looked unoccupied with no cars or activity around them. You can see some of them from the boat that takes you to Downtown Disney from Port Orleans.

Yeah Saratoga is where the Vacation Villas and Club lake Villas used to be...Thats all GONE! The tree houses are sitting there. The problem is when they were built on the swamp codes were different. Now they would cost a lot to bring back up to code. Last I heard they were debating what to do with them.

My tour guide at the DVC tour told me that they were hoping to preserve the treehouses but there was no final word on it yet. We also stayed at the treehouses on one of our earliest visits. We loved the treehouse but the location was a little too remote for our tastes. I hope they keep them though!
