Treehouse Bus Stops

Next year we are thinking of trying to get into the the Treehouse Villas since we haven't tried them yet. But my concern is the bus stops, how far is the walk? I have two teenage girls (they will be 17 at the time) and they will be coming and going on their own, and I am wondering if it is a long dark walk back to the villas at night.

Can anyone tell me what it is like there? Thanks!

There is a bus stop at the THVs that takes you to SSR. When you come back from the parks you can pick up the bus back to the THVs at SSR. If you want to walk to the Grandstand bus stop from THVs it is about a 5 minute walk through the golf course. You do have to walk through a non populated area at night, but there is a lot of lighting on the path. The THVs are in a secluded area in the woods, so if this is an issue with you be aware of this. There are two bus stops in the THV area, so some villas will be a bit of a walk. They are good at honoring requests, so you could request a villa near a bus stop. No guarantees of course.

Thanks, yes that is what I was wondering. My girls would probably freak out late at night coming back from the park (and honestly I would be nervous too). This information helps a lot. I think we will go with Wilderness Lodge instead if we want a 'wooded' feel but not so secluded.
