Treehouse Adventure - Pre-Trip Report

The Cast

me - Susan age 46 - loves holidays, disney, crocs, cocktails, sitting in the sun drinking

dh - Mark age 42 - loves his car

dd - Kirsty age 16 - loves disney holidays, hates going to Spain

For the second week we will be joined by our friends Vicky and Des who have been to WDW once before but only for a week and did not feel the magic so we are trying to convert them.

Here we all are in Spain

We have not been to WDW for three years as Mark was all Disneyed out wanted to spend more time in our place in Spain, although we went to Disneyland Paris two years ago.

We are DVC members and managed to get a three bedroom treehouse for the first 12 days of our trip

For the last two days of the vacation we will stay at Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Studios as we will need the front of the line passes as Harry Potter land would have only been opened a month.

Kirsty is taking her GCSEs and we decided to take the trip when she finished them .

We have nothing booked for the first week and plan to take it easy, The ADRs kick in when Vicky and Des arrive. This is the plan for our second week.

Meet up with Vicky and Des and on their first evening ADR at Raglan Road for dinner

Animal Kingdom day - lunch at Rainforest Cafe and take boat to DowntownDisney for dinner at Fultons crabhouse

Epcot day part 1 - futureworld - boat to Downtown Disney for dinner at T-Rex

Hollywood Studios day - Mama Melrose Fantasmic package

Magic Kingdom day - hire a boat on bay lake. In the evening take the boat to Downtown Disney and eat at House of Blues

Epcot world showcase day

Universal studios - hopefully have lunch at Mythos - evening meal in citywalk

Islands of Adventure and Harry Potter land and for our last evening eat at our favourite Hard Rock Cafe.

Vicky and Des will be staying on a few days after we go home.

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments. I am looking into buying annual passes so we will have to come back within 12 months. Hoping to get these with $100 DVC discount as soon as the pound against the dollar recovers a bit!
