Tree of Life Awakenings projection show question

I saw today that trhe Tree of Life Awakenings show is returning for the holidays. We are going in early March and the AK will be dark at about 6:30 before and 8 pm park closing. Will the projection show still be available then?

@Laura's Dad, The Tree of Life Awakenings begins after dark and occurs approximately every 10 minutes until the park closes.

We are going to be there next week and AK closes at 6pm. Anyone with a similar recent experience that can tell me when this might start. Sunset is around 5:30pm, but that usually doesn't mean it is dark for a bit after. Is this even running? I wanted to see it but didn't want to plan a day around it for it not to be available. Thanks!

Yes this year the holiday version started on Nov. 7. It runs at dark and about every 10 minutes until park closing.

It should still be going but the Holiday version may have ended depending on when in January your plan to visit.

Thanks, it'll be MLK weekend (Actually, I'm planning on MLK day to be there, the Holiday version would be nice, but I've seen the regular version once before, and loved it so that's OK with me!

I saw that on the WDW website. I’m more wondering when it actually has been starting. “Dark” is vague and closing at 6pm, I’m not sure how dark it is. Is it starting at 5? 5:30? Not at all on days the park closes at 6?

Sunset is about 5:30 PM ET this time of year so give or take another 10 minutes before the projections start. Just stop a CM in the area and ask if you are not sure.
