Could some of you very kind Disney experts please give me the run down on the Tree Lighting Ceremony: What is it? What time does it happen? and Wherabouts does it happen? Thanks everyone.

Although I've always missed it the tree -lighting ceremony in Epcot was at 6pm daily and they had a small show. :flower:

The tree lighting ceremony is very nice. They have characters and sing songs. This is the one at EPCOT - just as you get to World Showcase.

It does not last a very long time, be sure to get their early to get a good view. Maybe 1/2 early.

Enjoy, we never miss it.

I'm like MaryKatesMom, I always seem to miss the tree lighting too. What a nice surprise and sight to later come upon it though when it is all lit up! I definitely will have to plan to be there for the actual lighting this year.

We saw it at MK last Dec. and it is quite beautiful.

The characters sing a couple of carols and they do a countdown.....

This happened at about 5:00 pm. It usually is written in your time guide.
