Just wanted to share my excitment that I called on Saturday for three nights pre-stay before my Disney Dream Cruise (with 2 connecting 6Bs-aft, using our points ) for July 21-24 for the Tree House Villas and got my request :thumbsup2 I called exactly at 9:00 am and now all set for 3 nights pre cruise and then our cruise.

Can anyone please tell me where we want to be located? Is one villas location better than another.

We will be taking ME from MCO to THV and then hiring a car/van service to take us from THV to the Port.

We will be visiting main pool at SSR, DTD and doing (hopefully) Keys to the Kindgom Tour (no parks except this).

Can anyone tell me where I would want to request based on above?

Thank you so much!

We stayed in the THV in Feb. and any of the villas near the walking path to the Grand Stand are great. They are also near rear bus stop and pool. Have a Great Trip!

Great! Thanks so much!

2203 we LOVED IT!!!

Thanks so much! Can you tell me why you loved this THV! I'll call and request the exact room when you tell me. Thanks so much!!!! :worship:

We stayed last month and loved it! We wer in 7030 - right next to the south bus stop. Also close to the path to SSR and a pretty short walk to THV pool and the boat dock.

I would request 7016-7040 or 7055-7060 to get towards that end of the resort.

Closest to the boat: 7019-7023
Closest to south bus: 7039-7032
Closest to path: 7034
Closest to pool: 7056, 7060, 7035, 7036, 7037

A few sites online have the map posted (Google Treehouse Villas map) and click on "images.")

You feel like you are miles away. Very quiet and restful. The large common area (at least it seems that way) is very condusive to family meals and just together time. Out kids (15 and 11) loved the bunkbeds in their room.

The beds are smaller (a queen instead of a king, two full size instead of true queens), but it didn't feel cramped. The very high ceilings make it feel more spacious too (and kept it very comfortable even in the high heat we had without doing the thermostat override).

The kitchen is beautiful with granite countertops and tasteful fixtures. The woodsy theme is throughout with interesting tables and lamps and appropriately themed furniture.

The furniture is very comfortable too! I curled up in the loveseat (no mean feat, being over 6') for a bit one night just because it was so comfy (didn't even fold it out!).

The deck was great too, as was having our own BBQ grill (although the Florida rain always makes that tough when it crops up around dinner time!)

If I were to book again, I would simply make my request near the south bus stop. The bus stop is right at the end of the walking path to grandstand. We requested near the path and got put pretty far away. There are only two villa's on the path, so it might be easier for the assigners to have a broader area to work in. The CM at check in got us moved to being right on the path, so they were great, but the villa numbers aren't easy to work with in understanding where they are located.

While feeling remote, all villa's near the boat/south bus stop and pool are pretty close together...

Thanks so much, very useful information!

Great! Thank you! The bus stop is not a concern for me and quite honestly would prefer to not be next to one with people waiting. We will most likely have our car and if not, only staying a few nights.
Thanks.

We are staying in the THV's pre and post cruise in November and so glad for all this information. THANKS

We just stayed in 7060 this past Labor Day weekend, we loved every minute. Our villa was directly next to the hot tob and pool for THV. I was totally excited about this fact .... until, the loud gentlemen decided to have a loud conversation one night after midnight. We're light sleepers, we called about it and someone must have asked them to keep it down. We also have 2 small kids, so noise is no help there either. Second night, younger set of people out there jumping in at 2am, made another call and it was taken care of. I just don't want to be woken up, period...once posted closing hours pass. Too much to ask?

Point of story, pick another villa in that area already mentioned, close to SSR walkway and to boat dock. The villas ROCK, you will love them!!!! Enjoy every minute.

We're doing the same thing in March. 7 nights at the tree-house with my parents followed by a 4 night Disney Dream cruise (our first). Thanks for starting the thread. It answers a lot for myself as well.

For me, I can't wait to see the look on my parent's faces when they enter the tree-house. They're the "Motel 6 is too fancy for us" type of people.

We are staying at the THV for three nights before our Disney Dream Cruise as well (8/16 5-nt cruise). Just reserved on Monday, Sept 13th.
We visited some DVC members in the THV last Xmas...all I kept saying was "WOW":cool1:

Great information, thanks so much!
I had a few extra points so I booked an extra night at SSR and then moving over to THVs for 3 nights before our 5 night Disney Double Dip Cruise!
Have the 4 night stay (with 3 nights in a THV) and two connecting verandah rooms on Dream for 5 nights all using our points :goodvibes
Can't wait!

As everyone else has said, requesting near the south bus stop/walkway area is what worked great for us. We were in 7030. I just wish people would stop telling everyone how great the THV's are.....it's supposed to be our little secret:rotfl: As some are running from SSR, we added on so we could specifically get THV at the 11 month mark and get one for Christmas and all those other times we want to get away from the crowds. For all of the above reasons listed by others is why we love it. One complaint we had though was that the internal bus seemed to leave the grandstand right as our bus arrived coming back from the parks. We ended up just walking back to the THV, but that ismy one complaint. Can't wait to be back at the end of January 2011, and again for Christmas 2011. Like I said, it's our little secret, don't tell anyone else how awesome it is!!

We were in 7023 last October, and it seemed to be ideal! We only had a few steps to the bus stop and the ferry dock was right behind us. The pool was a quick walk.

You'll love them!

OK, I won't let anyone else know about the THVs :goodvibes
I think it is wonderful we get to book these at 11 months!
I LOVE to be away from the crowds after a day at the park! We did one night pre cruise (although not Disney) in August at a 2 bedroom at the BWVs, 3rd floor right in the middle of the Boardwalk. It was a perfect place to be with the BWV but even though we didn't do the parks (only the teens went) it felt like we were always in the middle of it all, which I know some LOVE.
I heard the boats to DS early in the morning and heard people leaving JellyRolls and the Dance Hall at about 2 am. They were so loud, the girls got up and went onto the balcony to see what was going on. Its a place I would like to visit again, but so glad I don't own there.
Anyway, different stokes for different folks.

Thanks so much! Would you request this area if you didn't need the bus?
We will have our car, not doing parks, with the exception of Keys to the Kingdom at MK but we will be driving.
I would like to be closest to DTD and the boats and pool LOL Is that all possible LOL Thanks!
