We are trying to decide what to book for a trip next year with 3 couples. It will be my husband and I with our two adult daughters and their significant others....not sure if it would be better to have a two bedroom with 2 queen beds in the second bedroom or the Tree House Villa with one couple sleeping in bunk beds. Any suggestions, feedback, pro's and cons?

Is a Grand Villa an option? That's what I would pick. IMO, even a 2 bedroom and a studio would be better choices.

The 2 bedroom option means either two couples share the second bedroom or one couple gets the queen sleep sofa in the living room. Neither is a great option, IMO. Consider AKV or BLT 2 bedrooms - at least you will have 3 bathrooms at those resorts.

As I recall, the THV bunk beds are not that great for adults. Read some of the THV reviews and decide for yourself. The THV only have two bathrooms and the master bedroom has a queen, rather than a king.

How do the daughers and their significant others feel about sharing a room? Their partners might feel ackward. One couple could take the sofabed.

I would not get the THV; those bunk beds are pretty small and that bathroom for 4 adults would be tough.

I'd get a 2 bedroom at AKV with that 3rd bathroom before THV.

My adult boys/spouses want their privacy. We either do a grand villa, a 2 BR plus studio or 3 studios.

The bunkbeds are really small, so unless the adult sleeping there is short and small they are going to be very uncomfortable.

I would go with the two bedroom over the treehouse, but I think in either situation, one couple will be better off sleeping on the sofa bed if they want their own space. The bunk beds really don't seem to be meant for two adults. At least with the two bedroom, one couple will have the option of sharing a room on a regular bed or using the living room as their bedroom and sleeping on the sofa bed. I recently did a split stay with 5 adults and 3 kids and we spent the first half at BLT 2 bedroom which was great with 3 bathrooms, and the second half in a tree house, which was fun, but we definitely missed the 3rd bathroom. We used the bunks for 2 small kids and 1 adult slept on the sofa bed.
