on a mid-December trip. What do you think of this plan?

Arrival day - 'Ohana (dinner)
Day 1 - HS - 50's PT (lunch); Yachtsman (dinner)
Day 2 - MK - CRT (breakfast); Artist Point (dinner)
Day 3 - AK - Tusker House (breakfast); Jiko (dinner)
Day 4 - EP - Le Cellier (lunch); Flying Fish (dinner)
Day 5 - MK - Crystal Palce (breakfast); Citricos (dinner)
Day 6 - EP/DTD - Cape May (breakfast); California Grill (dinner)
Departure day - Kona (breakfast)

I'm trying to convince them that this will add an extra level of magic to the trip (for example, I plan to book the character meals before park opening so they can have the experience of, e.g., walking down Main Street USA with virtually no crowds).

The other thing I think will be fun for them is eating in all the different resorts and seeing all of the various Christmas decorations. WL and GF will probably steal the show but I think they'll also enjoy some of the lesser known resort decorations, such as the trains at YC (my dad LOVES electric trains).

They are very skeptical of my plan as they have mostly eaten only CS food at Disney and don't have a very high regard for it (even with DxDP upgrade from free dining, they question whether it's worth it - they think that if I get free dining, I should just stick with that and not pay for the upgrade). So I feel some pressure to get this right.

I think this is a fantastic line up :thumbsup2 the only thing is are your parents big eaters? They may enjoy their trip less if they're overstuffed, I've heard that's the issue with deluxe. I think you have great choices for signatures! I'm jealous - wish I could afford (money and time wise) deluxe for my upcoming trip.

I don't think you can go wrong with that lineup. Those are some excellent restaurants you have chosen. Smart decision doing breakfast and dinner ADRs so they can walk off breakfast and have an appetite for dinner.
