Treasure Planet on Thanksgiving Cruise

I have a long tradition of always seeing Disney's feature animated movies on opening day. Since Treasure Planet is opening "everywhere" (accoring to Disney's Treasure Planet site) on November 27th, I'm wondering if I will be able to see it on the Disney Magic.

Anyone have any thoughts?

It probably won't debut on the Magic until the 11/30 cruise. Generally the new films debut at sea the week after they debut on land.

We were onboard for the world premier of several including Emperor’s New Groove and Max Keeble. In every case, they had special showings in the Walt Disney Theater on the opening day (including an early show that, at least in theory, was before that of theaters on the mainland) and subsequent days as well.

As they are quick to point out, they are the only line that shows first run movies because they own them!

We’re holding out on going to see it until our voyage on December 14. Hope it holds true!
