Treasure Hunt or games in the park

I have been reading several forums trying to get some ideas on how to do a treasure hunt in Disneyland. Mostly what I've found have been ideas for a scavenger hunt with a list of things to bring back or pictures. What I want to do is send my friends thru the park hunting clues to get to the end destination. Finding me. Does anyone have any ideas or have you been on any of the larger organized hunts?
