I thought I read somewhere that there was a treasure hunt similar to the one at the GF at YC/BC. Has anyone done this or have information about it? As always THANKS!

I remember seeing something about this as well - was it in the Mickey Monitor??

I contacted my Itinerary Planner at BWI CL and she responded immediately! Unfortunately, the cruise is booked for the one Wednesday we could do it but she will check on it for cancellations :Pinkbounc

You can't book this PA until Feb. 23. I think your IP thought you wanted the one at GF; you might want to call her.

I believe it doesn't start until the 23rd but she definitely knew what I was referring to:
"The new activity is called the Albatross Cruise, which departs from the Yacht Club Bayside Marina. Similar to the Pirate Cruise, the children wear bandanas and venture around Crescent Lake and Epcot in search of map clues. While following these clues, the children will visit many exotic "ports of call" (or resort marinas) to collect treasure. During the voyage, the children will enjoy a reading of "The Legend of Albatross", and at the final port of call they will have lunch and split up their treasure. Lunch consists of a peanut butter & jelly sandwich, cookie and juice box. And their pirate treasure includes "gold" coins, mardi gras beads, rings, pirate eye patches, small compasses, rubber bugs, stickers, etc.
Currently the activity is only being offered on Wednesdays at 9:30am and is two hours long. Like our other children activities, the tour is offered to children between the ages of 4-10. Two cast members will accompany the children on the cruise, one of whom is a lifeguard.
I checked on March 30th for you, however it is actually already booked up. I will keep checking that each morning for you, in case there are any cancellations!"

I called and tried to reserve a spot on the Albatross and the CM reported that the bookings would not start until the 23 or Feb. Now I need to call and make sure the CM game me correct info. Thanks.

Thank you so much for posting the info. I called back and I was able to get the last two slots for March 23rd!!!

I called yesterday about this adventure and the CM told me I couldn't book it until the 23rd of Feb. I asked him if he was sure and he said "yes, we will not start bookings for this until the 23rd of Feb." Anyhoo, thank you so much. I would have waited until the 23rd and it would have been completely booked up.
