Treasure - Formula 1

Going on the Treasure in July. There is a Formula 1 race on at 10am Sunday (first sea day). I know on the Fantasy I’ve been able to go to O Gills and watch races in the morning (they’re on ESPN). Does anyone know if Periscope is open in the morning (even if not serving drinks) with sports playing on the TVs?

Yeah I know that’s an option. It would be cool to watch it with others. Disney is partnering with Formula 1 next year. So it would be a decent idea to show it on the cruise and attract a new audience.

I didn’t see Periscope open before noon— we did a tour of the ship at 9 am and we were able to walk behind the bar at periscope because the venue doesn’t open until later.

Gotcha do you happen to know if the TVs were showing sports? I know on the Fantasy O’Gills still showed sports when it wasn’t open.

They were not showing sports in the morning— I remember they had a screensaver up on the TV’s because our tour guide pointed out the “Easter egg” of the Treasure hull number in the image.

We had to use our stateroom TV for ESPN recaps on the Pacers’ games the previous nights.

We were on the Treasure a couple of weeks ago and my daughter is a big F1 fan. Periscope was not showing the race. She was able to watch on the TV in our room.

You can stream your stateroom tv on your phone on the Treasure so you could go up to the bar on the upper deck or back to the adult only area and watch from there.

Skipper Society gets used a lot for crafts, learn to draw and trivia. They also do trivia in Periscope too.
