Hey – looking for a great treadmill workout. Thinking that you cannot do anything on a treadmill but run? Check this out. While I do not personally recommend doing this workout without supervision of a knowledgeable trainer I have used all these moves personally and in a boot camp I ran and swear that a good 50 minutes using your own body weight will wear you out!

Enjoy - and no this is not me

I might actually have to try some of those exercises.. I have done the lunges when its been cooling down already going slow

Oh My! I think I'd be dead.

Really great work out for sure. Thanks for the ideas.

I just thinking how bad it would hurt when I fell of the Dreadmill! Wow, he did all that in 3:23 minutes. :scared1:

Yeah buddy I'm going to do all that on a treadbeast, I don't even like walking on them.

Dave:hippie:

You know, I can't help but think that can't be good for the treadmill. :confused3

I can't help but think that a face plant doing pushups off the rear of a treadmill on 'Club Carpet" would be all that fun. Or really hands on the deck of a club dreadmill.

I do have a replacement for my dead dreadmill coming tomorrow. If you get a post from Mary (DW) Saturday you know that I was tempted and ended up in the ER or worse. :confused3

My chiro had me doing the sideways walking on the TM last week. It's suppose to be good for your glutes/hips. I had the TM going at about 1.0 and that felt fast. I should say that I lack coordination if I attempted most of those exercises in the video, I would end up doing a face plant.

Once I get the sideways walking down, maybe I'll give a couple of the other ones a shot! Thanks for sharing :)

All I can say is WOW. Who thinks of these things? But seriously, there is no way you could do this at a gym, at least no ours, the machines are too close together for there to ge enough room to do some of the exercises on the floor. Plus that floor is YUCK-O. I suppose I could try it at home, but the TM is in the basement on cement floor, guess I could put down a towel or something.

I was stupid enough to show this to my personal traininer....he has decided that we will do some of it tomorrow. :scared1: I'll let you know how it goes. I reminded him that two of us in the group have a big race next month and that we can't be injured! He laughed.

Gotta tell you that a trainer friend worked my legs to the point of shaking one week pre-race last year. I had DOMS until Thursday morning. During that time I was worried. But I had the best race weekend ever.

For the record I have done most of these now that I have my new mill at home. While intimidating, they are just a little tougher than doing the same work off the mill. The mill just provides a level of unstability
