We have stayed at Cypress Pointe and don't remember there ever being a kitchen in the one bedroom? It is really just like a hotel room with an open bathroom. I know that at the Cypress Pointe Grande Villas the one bedroom has a kitchen.

The Cypress Pointe Resort (aka Phase 1) has a studio side that includes a small refrigerator and microwave but no stove or dishwasher and does currently have a very open floor plan. Those are not usually advertised as 1 BR units. Cypress Pointe Grande Villas (aka Phase 2 - the high rises) has a one bedroom that does have a very small kitchen and is often listed as a 1 BR. There is a glass wall that separates the kitchen/sitting area from the bed area in those units. The bath area is still open to the bed area. Since the exact resort isn't specified in the ad I would assume they mean CPGV if it lists more than sleeps 2. Since it's a Sunterra offer and they have most of their inventory at CPGV thats where it appears to be.

last May in a 2 bedroom.They are VERY nice, and our condo looked out on the volcano pool, which was fun, but still quiet! We got a deal thru www.hotelkingdom.com taht was $93.00/ nite. I think that's probably a better deal, since the deal on travelzoo is for a 1 BR. To upgrade to the 2 BR would cost $294.00, and there are alot of blackout dates with the TZ special.Check hotelkingdom.
